Before a Bottle is uncorked or lump of charcoal torched its time to get to know the main Charactors of this years performance.
Above is the full squad announced for the 2006 Caravan season although we are hoping for an extra cast member to safely arrive in March to complete the touring party. Over the next few weeks we will take a look at each cast member and speculate how they will perform in the coming season based on previous performances and analyse just what we can expect from them.
To get us aquainted however some brief introductions are in order.
Standing up on the far left is me - Stephen - I'd just like to point out at this moment however that this was last seasons picture and much gym work and hair styling has produced a much improved look (is that possible?) for the 2006 season as we will later see.
Sitting down is John - whose caravan this is (by this I mean he is the payer) flanked by his wife Ann and seated daughter and my wife Amanda. Ann is an expert on telling where wines come from merely by fumbling with the size of the dimple at the bottom of the bottle and Amanda is Degree educated superbabe.
The two young ladies stood at the back are our daughters Bronwyn (in the yellow top) and Bethan (in the pink). Both are musical genius. Bronwyn specializes in mobile phone texting and running up lanline phonebills whilst Bethan has memorized every episode of Charmed and Friends ever broadcast in the UK.
On the far right is Jonathan, Leanne and little Morgan - soon to be joined by another member of their family which inevitably will mean Jonathan moving from caravan bedroom to caravan floor in the near future. Jonathan is Anne and Johns son and my brother in law, Leanne is Jonathans wife and Morgan their son. Jonathan is into his computer and shaving his head, Leanne buys and sells nations on E Bay and Morgan does the pebble and hand thing better than Quai Chang Kane.
Well there we are a brief introduction to the team- detailed analysis of each of the touring party to come before the main event kicks off in mid March - stay tuned for more details.
