Anyway aside from my rip van Winkle stories- after we eventually got to the van on Saturday which was a lovely day we discovered Ann and John had disappeared sloe berry picking in Cardigan and what a huge crop there is this year- every berry baring tree or bush seems to be

Amanda and I eventually made our way to Cardigan to get some fresh air and had a pint outside one of the riverside pubs in Cardigan before walking over to the Teiffi Marshes where we had missed Ann and John but did get to see the elusive King

The next morning I walked in to the living room to survey the empty wine bottles from the night before before making out for the beach for a stroll on my own. This is my favourite time in Newquay - deserted beaches and warm but not boiling sun. Returned later to a lovely dinner then back to the beach for another walk with Amanda before returning just before the heavens opened and, well that was it really.

An odd weekend if the truth be told. Just couldn't seem to get back into caravan life and now torn this week as whether to fight the Friday fatugue and drive down to make the most of Saturday or just chill out and take things as they come on Saturday - it just seems one of those weeks to be honest.
Tune in next week for some mor......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzz
