First of all to the big news of the weekend - Leanne and Jonathan are now proud parents of the newest addition to the Brain family (Caerphilly branch) when little Lewis was born on Tueday - mother and baby doing well - Leanne send me some photo's not the 6 mb word document that I couldn't post please if you get a spare moment or two.
Right back to caravan capers - no Ann and John this weekend which didn't start out too brightly as the gas ran out as soon as we touched down- not the place to be when that happens at this time of the year but all turned out well in the end. For the second succesive Saturday spent all day in the pub watching the rugby and drinking with Clive, Jane and their family. God it was cold in there but armed with ruck sacks full of sandwiches we survived a gruelling session - which came back to haunt me on Sunday when had to drive to Newquay to buy newspapers because I was getting flashbacks of telling the shop owner the night before (who is a fiersome looking Maori woman) she ought to smile more because she was starting to look like an All Black rugby player - never mind will have to send Bronwyn up in future.
Came home quite early on Sunday after lolling about as you do after a days session but the kids were quite pleased to get back on the internet and phone socializing.
No trip for us for next week so will have to rely on Brains senior for report from camp.
Hope to have some baby Brain photos to show by then - come on Leanne you've got plenty of spare time on your hands now.....
